Baker Cindy

I'm the mom of the two beautiful young ladies.  I grew up with a baking and cooking mom and she is the person who influenced me the most.   She has always loved reading cookbooks, trying new recipes, and entertaining, so I have had a good example to follow.  She is in her 80's and is still entertaining her book club at her home.  She loves the whole process of planning the food and decorations.  The girls were raised on a farm in rural Kentucky, and we ate supper at the dinner table almost every night.  I loved to cook and bake for them.  I took cake decorating classes when the girls were young and made almost all of their birthday cakes, and a few years ago Sarah's wedding cake.  Now they have both taken classes in cake decorating and have excelled in that endeavor. They amaze me with their creative abilities and seem to be able to do anything.  We are just "normal folks" and we love quick and easy recipes that "wow."  Hopefully you all will enjoy our recipes and give them a try.
